FenceFam® is a professional networking platform for the fence and gate industry that helps you turn real, face-to-face connections — made at events, on jobsites, on sales calls, at social gatherings, and everywhere the industry meets — into a lasting digital network you control.

By creating an account, checking the “I agree” box during sign-up, accessing, or using FenceFam® in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by any policies referenced in them. If you do not agree, you must not create an account or use the platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the version and effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of FenceFam® after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

FenceFam® is intended for working professionals in the fence and gate industry. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the platform.

During sign-up we ask for your date of birth to verify that you meet this age requirement. You agree to provide an accurate date of birth and accurate personal information. Entering false information to bypass the age requirement is a violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or permanently remove any account where we believe the age requirement is not met or where the date of birth provided is inaccurate or fraudulent. If you believe an underage person has created an account, please contact us so we can remove it.

You are responsible for the information you provide and for all activity that happens under your account. Keep your password confidential and do not share your login with anyone.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You may not impersonate any person or business, misrepresent your affiliation, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. We are not responsible for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your login credentials.

FenceFam® is a professional community. You agree to use it respectfully and lawfully. When you post, comment, message, or otherwise contribute content, you agree that you will not:

• Post content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Post content that infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Upload images or videos that you do not own or have permission to share, or that depict other people’s work as your own.
• Spam the community, post repetitive or misleading promotions, or engage in deceptive marketing.
• Harvest, scrape, or collect other members’ information, or use the platform to build a competing database.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform, other accounts, or our systems, or interfere with the platform’s operation.
• Use the platform to solicit or carry out scams, pyramid schemes, phishing, or any fraudulent or illegal activity.

You retain ownership of the photos, project images, text, and other content you post to FenceFam® (“Your Content”). You are solely responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights to post it.

By posting Your Content, you grant FenceFam® a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute it for the purpose of operating, promoting, and improving the platform — for example, showing your project photos to your network, in feeds, and in your profile.

You confirm that any people appearing in images you upload, and any customers or jobsites shown, have given you the permission needed to post those images. Do not upload private customer information or images without consent.

We may remove or restrict any content that we believe violates these Terms or the law, but we are not obligated to monitor or review content and do not guarantee that we will.

FenceFam® lets you discover industry events, create your own events, register to attend, scan badges, and connect with people you meet. Events — whether listed by us, by other members, or attended in person — are organized and run by their respective hosts, not by FenceFam® unless we expressly state otherwise.

We are not responsible for what happens at any event, for a host’s conduct, for cancellations, for fees charged by a host or third party, or for your safety while attending. You attend events, meet people, and share information at your own risk and using your own professional judgment.

When you use QR connect, event mode, badge scanning, or similar features, you are choosing to exchange information with the people you meet. Use good judgment about who you connect with and what you share.

Your FenceFam® Circle is made of the people you choose to connect with, and your Extended network reflects the connections of your Circle. Building a connection means you are choosing to share certain information with that person.

You control what your connect code and profile share, but once you share information with another person — in your Circle, in your Extended network, or otherwise — you cannot control what they do with it. Treat every connection the way you would a real-world exchange of a business card.

FenceFam® does not vet, endorse, or guarantee any member, their identity, their business, their qualifications, or their conduct. Any dealings, communications, transactions, or relationships you form with other members are solely between you and them.

Some information you put on FenceFam® is public or visible to your network (for example, your profile, posts, and project photos), and some is more limited (for example, contact details you only share through your connect card). You are responsible for choosing what to make available and to whom.

Understand that anything you post publicly or share with your network can be viewed, saved, copied, screenshotted, or re-shared by others. Do not post anything you would not want seen, stored, or forwarded beyond your control.

Our handling of personal information is described in our privacy practices. You are responsible for respecting the privacy of other members and for not misusing information you receive through the platform.

FenceFam® is a networking platform, not a party to any deal, transaction, quote, hire, or agreement you make with another member. We do not guarantee the honesty, identity, solvency, or intentions of anyone you meet through the platform.

Be alert to scams, fraud, phishing, fake accounts, payment schemes, and unsolicited offers. Never send money, deposits, or sensitive financial information to someone you do not trust, and independently verify anyone before doing business.

You agree that any loss, dispute, or damage arising out of your dealings with other members is your responsibility, and you release FenceFam® from any claims arising from such dealings. If you encounter a scam or suspicious account, report it to us so we can investigate and take action.

We work hard to keep FenceFam® running, but the platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any content, posts, images, messages, connections, or other data will be preserved, backed up, or recoverable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FenceFam® is not liable for any loss, deletion, corruption, or unavailability of your content or data, whether caused by technical failure, error, maintenance, security incident, or any other reason. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any content that is important to you.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform, or your access to it, at any time and without liability.

FenceFam®, #FenceFam®, our logos, and the platform itself (including its design, software, and content we provide) are owned by FenceFam® and are protected by trademark, copyright, and other laws. FenceFam® and #FenceFam® are registered trademarks.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the platform, and you may not use our name, logos, or trademarks without our prior written permission, except to identify FenceFam® as the source of content you legitimately share.

We may suspend or terminate your account, remove your content, or restrict your access at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, or for any other reason at our discretion.

You may stop using FenceFam® and request deletion of your account at any time. Certain information may remain in backups or where required for legal, security, or record-keeping purposes. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FenceFam® disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will meet your requirements or produce any particular business result.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FenceFam® and its owners, officers, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business, or opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the platform, your dealings with other members, events, or any content.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the platform is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (if any) or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FenceFam® and its owners, officers, and staff from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your content, your use of the platform, your dealings with other members, your attendance at events, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FenceFam® operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to resolve disputes in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and FenceFam® regarding the platform.
